• Supervising and guiding highly qualified audit experts during complex assignments.
• Preparing impactful audit reports for Management and the Audit Committee, delivering clear insights and recommendations.
• Ensuring audit engagements are conducted in accordance with professional standards and the approved audit plan.
• Acting as the main liaison with senior stakeholders in the Banking department, challenging and guiding them through the audit process.
• Maintaining high-quality audit documentation and analysis to support well-founded conclusions.

We are seeking a seasoned audit professional with strong technical knowledge and the gravitas to influence at senior levels.

Must-have qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive audit experience within financial services, a central bank, or an international financial institution.
• At least 3-5 years in a leadership role, managing and supervising audit teams.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, including derivatives, (reverse) repos, fixed income instruments, interest rate products, and FX.
• Strong understanding of front, middle, and back-office processes, including collateral management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, or equivalent).

Interpersonal skills:

• Gravitas and presence to effectively challenge senior stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across diverse, multicultural teams.
• Proactive, customer-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver under pressure.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience in a Big 4 firm.
• Familiarity with data analytics in audit.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
• Additional certifications in auditing (CIA, CISA, CPA, or equivalent).
