Tasks- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using established defect tracking tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
- Perform regression testing to verify that existing functionalities work as expected after new code deployments or updates.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
