Sr Network Engineer - Try & Hire - Geneva - FR/EN
- Strategic Planning & Network Architecture
- Collaborate with leadership to assess current and future network capacity needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
- Design and enforce policies and procedures for network administration, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Network Design, Deployment & Vendor Management
- Design and implement LAN/WAN architectures, including wireless networks, switches, UPS systems, and related appliances.
- Manage relationships with global vendors, outsourcers, and contractors.
- Research and evaluate emerging networking technologies and solutions.
- Oversee the deployment and management of enterprise firewalls, VPNs (including IPSEC), and related security tools.
- Infrastructure Operations & Security
- Ensure seamless network performance and availability across all business units and global data centers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Support network integration with major cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Manage all aspects of network security, including audits, backups, and risk remediation.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of network assets and configurations.
- Project Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and deliver network-related projects in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with cybersecurity, development, and service desk teams.
- Support wider IT and infrastructure initiatives by contributing expertise and guidance.
- Advanced Support & Availability
- Provide 3rd-level technical support and troubleshooting across global sites and residences.
- Participate in the on-call support rotation, including outside of normal business hours.

Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level network engineering.
- Proven expertise in Cisco/HP networking, Azure networking, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Deep understanding of network security tools, including Fortinet firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Proficiency in managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premise and cloud).
- Strong project management capabilities and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Certifications & Frameworks:
- CCNA required; CCNP preferred.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework and enterprise architecture principles.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
- Must be available to provide support outside standard business hours as needed.
