Design Engineer (m/w/x)
- You are responsible for the design and optimization of components, assemblies, and systems, while taking into account technical, scheduling, and financial aspects (design-to-cost based on customer requirements)
- You create 3D models of components assemblies with CAD system, including surface modelling (casting parts)
- You create and correct 2D drawings with GD&T
- You generate 3D visualisations to clarify technical content and prepare technical presentations
- You perform basic component calculation (FEM/analytical)
- You manage the PLM (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion)
- You cooperate with the corresponding departments within the project environment, as well as with component suppliers to clarify technical properties of components and support component development (co-design)
- You contribute to the FMEA activities
- You design component referent for selected component across all engine platforms
- You have completed your university or technical college studies in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Manufacturing
- You have experience in working in design within a combustion engine related field
- You possess basic technical knowledge of combustion engines and simulation results, and you are capable of performing surface modelling using CAD
- You have a very good knowledge of French and German (B2), while you are fluent in English (C1)
- You have advanced knowledge of MS Office, PTC Creo and PLM Albatros
- You are known for your autonomy and commitment, as well as your strong organizational skills. Flexible and resilient, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment. You are distinguished by your ability to innovate and your goal-oriented approach
