Your role and responsibilities
As a Technical Product Compliance Officer, you will act as a consultant, collaborating closely with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Project Management to ensure CE-Conformity and Compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role contributes to the Process Industries division in Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Act as an internal consultant on compliance-related matters and provide guidance on regulatory requirements, closely collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Project Management.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with conformity standards.
- Monitor and update compliance processes to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices (mainly machinery directive, low voltage directive and EMC directive).
- Provide training and support to teams on conformity and compliance requirements.
- Degree in industrial or electrical engineering, additional education as technical writing is a plus.
- Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design.
- Experience in product compliance as well as understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodology.
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills in English.
