Temporary English Speaking Nanny in Geneva - Start ASAP or by 1st June - ref. i3918603

A family based in Plainpalais, Geneva, is looking for a temporary, reliable, nurturing, and experienced nanny to care for their baby girl, who is almost 11 months old. The parents are expecting a second child in September

• Start date: ASAP, or by the 1st of June at the latest, until the end of August or mid-September.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (with a one-hour lunch break - 40 hours a week) - Flexibility to accommodate a short break in late August/early September for a family vacation.

Duties:

• Support age-appropriate developmental activities
• Feeding the baby with a focus on healthy meals and patient transitions to solid food.
• Nappy changes are as needed to maintain skin health and hygiene
• Ensure a clean and safe environment, including:
• General tidying of play and living areas
• Vacuuming and cleaning floors
• Baby laundry

Additional information:

• The father works, sometimes from home
• The mother comes home for lunch occasionally
• Nanny cameras are installed in the home

• Swiss Passport or Swiss permit
• Resident in Geneva
• Experience taking care of babies and toddlers (at least 3-5 years)
• Letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can validate
• Warm, patient, and attentive to the baby’s needs
• Health-conscious, with experience in preparing nutritious, healthy child meals
• Self-aware and respectful in a private family setting
• Understands early development milestones
• Reliable and organised, with strong communication skills
• Holds First Aid certification
• Fluent English speaker
