About Senior IT Project Manager:
As Senior IT Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of key finance-related IT projects. You will focus on managing and implementing cutting-edge business systems, ensuring seamless integration with the company ecosystem.
Additionally, you will be part of the Transformation Office team driving improvements on financial reporting, close & consolidation and planning processes bringing your expertise in finance systems and project management to ensure robust, scalable solutions.
Your role will involve not only technical project management but also collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business needs, ensuring maximum value from our finance systems while maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working with diverse teams, and has extensive experience in handling complex IT projects within the finance domain.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of new finance-related systems (CPM/BPM/EPM), ensuring integration with existing IT infrastructure.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Work closely with finance and business teams to select the tools, define system requirements and deliver effective, user-friendly solutions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, external regulation and industry best practices in finance systems implementation (e.g. SOX).
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies (e.g., UAT, system integration testing) to ensure solution quality and reliability.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation through to deployment.
- Oversee the integration of consolidation tools and manage financial reporting solutions.
- Deliver training to internal teams and ensure proper system support post-implementation.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior leadership.
- Drive change management initiatives to support user adoption and ensure smooth transition to new systems and processes

Work Experience and Education requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on finance-related systems.
- Deep expertise in ERP, CRM, and BI platforms (e.g., QAD or SAP/Oracle, Salesforce, Tableau).
- Strong experience with one or more tools supporting financial planning, close management, consolidation, reporting and accounting reconciliation (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan, Workiva, Board, Blackline...).
- PMI/PMP certification (or equivalent) is highly recommended.
- Proven ability to manage complex integrations across different IT systems, including cloud-based SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
- Must be based in Switzerland or open to relocate.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
