FORS is responsible for acquiring, documenting, preserving, and disseminating high-quality quantitative and qualitative data and research information in accordance with national and international standards. We also promote these data and services and advocate for a research culture of data sharing and secondary analysis in the social sciences in Switzerland.
FORS activities are co-financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation and its host institution, the University of Lausanne.

Job description
As a project manager, your transversal management skills will assure organizational stability of the running and future projects and services of the Data Tools & Services group.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
- Budget management
- Planning and monitoring the project
- Risk and change management
- Project development
- Stakeholder management
- Excellent fluency in English (German and/or French are assets)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Organizational and planning skills
- Good writing and communication skills
- Team spirit
- Knowledge of the academic and research data landscape (asset)
- Master’s degree in Business/ Marketing/Communication/IT/Social Sciences
