NDK Skateboarding is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Product Merchandiser to join our Global Product and Merchandising team. Based in Rolle, Switzerland, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our iconic brands: etnies, éS, and Emerica.

Tasks

About the Role

As Global Product Merchandiser, you’ll support the end-to-end process of product creation and merchandising across our global skateboarding portfolio. From concept to go-to-market, you’ll help deliver compelling, consumer-driven collections that align with our seasonal KPIs and long-term brand vision.

Your deep knowledge of skateboarding culture will be vital in crafting product lines that reflect the needs of our global audience. This role requires a strong sense of product storytelling, market awareness, and an ability to collaborate across departments—from Design and Development to Marketing, Sales, and Operations.

What You’ll Do
  1. Merchandising and Line Planning
  • Support seasonal merchandising plans aligned with brand identity and market demand.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Guide SKU planning through performance data, consumer insights, and market potential.
  • Support product presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to align merchandising and go-to-market strategies.
  • Own key deliverables like PLM accuracy, line lists, and seasonal GTM tools.
  1. Product Strategy & Creation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative and technically sound footwear and apparel.
  • Support creation seasonal roadmaps and long-term product planning through market and consumer insights.
  • Support product positioning, pricing, and margin strategies to deliver commercial goals.
  • Partner with key global accounts to shape culturally relevant products and future opportunities.
  • Create compelling collaborations and partnerships that elevate brand equity.
  1. Performance & Optimization
  • Monitor sales performance and consumer feedback to inform future product decisions.
  • Use data analytics to guide assortment optimization and lifecycle management.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to continually refine product and merchandising strategies.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of skateboarding, street culture, and the global action sports industry.
  • A strong passion for product, with proven experience in product creation and merchandising.
  • Experience working in the footwear and/or action sports industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2–4+ years in a relevant role).
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote; experience with PLM systems is a plus.
  • Adobe Illustrator skills are a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills; thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); French proficiency is a plus.
