School Nurse (Temporary Contract) - Yverdon-les-Bains
For one of our clients, an international school located in a beautiful region of the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a School Nurse for a temporary position from August to December 2025 (5 months).
Responsabilités
Provide clinical nursing care to students, staff, and visitors, following NMC or Swiss equivalent guidelines.
Assess injuries and health conditions, develop care plans, and refer to external healthcare providers when needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional conduct standards.
Ensure compliance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
Profil
Nursing degree recognized by the Swiss Red Cross or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of experience in clinical nursing, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
Bilingual (English/French) – mandatory.
Knowledge of best practice guidelines recommended by the Swiss Red Cross, Royal College of Nursing (RCN), and Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA).
Ability to deliver high-quality nursing services to students and provide first aid to all members of the school community.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
