Medical Scienctific Expert Hemato-Oncology (m/f/d)

The Medical Scienctific Expert will manage key tactics from the medical strategy -relating primarily to multiple myeloma- and in partnership with the hematology Medical team (Medical Advisor, MSL Lead, MSLs). This role will support the hematology therapeutic area on medical, scientific and ethical matters to support GSK Switzerland, enabling the evidence based used of GSK medicines and develop relationships with external experts in hematology and other strategic stakeholders in the therapy area of Multiple Myeloma.

Furthermore, the Medical Scientific Expert will implement local strategic and operational integrated plans in strong partnership with medical and cross-functional team members as well as support the launch of future assets in hematology.

Location: Baar (Zug)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement medical hematology strategic activities relating to multiple myeloma. These include but are not limited to scientific education projects, omnichannel plans, and digital education.
  • Ensure collaboration and communication flow between Hematology Medical and Commercial teams as well as Swiss oncology cross-functional teams by partnering on strategy development and execution of medical tactics (e.g. brand planning)
  • Build partnerships with key patient organizations, external experts, advocacy groups, and scientific societies in multiple myeloma.
  • Drive the proper documentation and approval of medical multiple myeloma materials.
  • Stay updated as a scientific expert in multiple myeloma by reviewing literature and congress data.
  • Train medical and cross-functional team members on disease awareness as well as newest scientific data

Why you?

Basic qualifications:

  • Degree in life sciences: MSc or equivalent, MD, PhD, PharmD and/or other professional healthcare provision qualification with experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience in a role successfully engaging in scientific exchange with external experts (e.g. MSL)
  • Solid grounding in clinical, medical and pharmaceutical science with the ability to rapidly assimilate specific and detailed knowledge in these areas.
  • Experience in evaluating and effectively communicating evidence-based medicine.
  • Excellent communication skill in English and German is a must. French and Italianlanguage skills are a plus
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
