Job Description
Your daily tasks & responsibilities- Act as Burn Test Engineer
- Support the Team Leader Burn Test in administrative and organisational tasks
- Ensure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations in the engineering output for the product, system or installation designed
- Ensure adequate communication and liaison internally, especially with the Engineering Team, Production Team as well as with external Third Parties
- Review Engineering/Upholstery drawings
- Establishing flammability test plans, Burn Test requests and reports and ensuring the timely performance of the required flammability tests
- Production liaison and support
- Subcontractor and Burn Test Laboratories liaison and support
- Processing and administration of engineering manufacturing data
- Administration and interface of material information (Materials, Standard Parts, Quantity management) and ordering interface to the logistics department
- Applicable engineering degree or similar qualification within aviation
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a burn test engineer, preferable within aviation
- Computer literate with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience with AMOS
- Good communication skills in English; German or French in addition will be an advantage
