As Direct-to-Consumer Retail Intern, you will support the retail team in driving operational excellence and in-store brand execution, with the aim of delivering the best retail customer experience and support measurable business growth.
Get ready to make an impact! Here’s what you’ll be responsible for joining our team as Direct-to-Consumer Retail Intern:
- Read, interpret and create reporting on sales data, performance indicators and customer metrics related to 200+ DTC retail stores (Owned & Operated, Franchise & Concessions)
- Interact with different departments (Marketing, Finance, Central Operations, Planning & Allocation) and understand how they contribute to the overall retail ecosystem
- Manage the communication to stores, the field team and the Timberland Stabio community, taking care of a monthly retail update shared with the EMEA Community
- Lead the communication and interaction with Outlet Centres to increase marketing and commercial exposure for key outlet stores
- Interact with the Marketing department to support with in-store activations and the Community loyalty program
- Familiarize yourself with retail technologies (POS systems, CRM tools, sales analysis tools)
- Develop project management skills by setting milestones, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines for spot-on retail operations’ projects
- Participate and help in planning annual meetings and activations (Store Managers’ Meeting, GTM service events, Brand meeting etc)
- Support EMEA Path of Service Coordinator in managing Path of Service program in EMEA
- Manage internal communication to engage employees and external business partners in service activities (i.e. Path of service monthly newsletter, celebration of 40 hours club)
- Represent Timberland in internal events acting as a CSR and service champion

- The capability to work on multiple tasks, while meeting deadlines and tracking progress
- Retail is detail: analytical thinking and attention to detail are keys to success
- Effective verbal and written communication to interact with a wide audience of stakeholders
- A keen interest for Timberland Path of Service program and helping communities
