Drive the strategic and operational excellence of Axpo's international biomethane portfolio. This pivotal role blends leadership, commercial acumen, and innovation in the evolving world of renewable gas.

What you will do:

• Define and implement asset management frameworks, KPIs, and performance strategies across the biomethane portfolio
• Lead asset portfolio reviews to identify opportunities for optimization, value creation, and performance improvement
• Support M&A integration and investment decisions in collaboration with Business Development and Finance
• Act as key interface between local asset managers, technical teams, and senior leadership
• Oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and ESG alignment across the portfolio
• Develop and enhance tools and processes for data-driven asset management and strategic planning

What you bring & who you are:

• Degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Economics, or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in asset management or strategy in the energy sector, ideally with exposure to biogas/biomethane
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial, analytical, and leadership capabilities
• Proficiency in managing complex multi-asset portfolios and cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English required; other languages such as Italian or Polish are a plus
• Self-driven, adaptable, and confident in navigating evolving energy landscapes
