Postdoc Positions in the field of Protein - Protein Interactions

Mission

2 postdoc positions are available in Laboratory of Supramolecular materials and interfaces (SUNMIL) at EPFL, Switzerland on the topic of Protein-Protein interactions.

SuNMIL (Supramolecular Nano-Materials and Interfaces Laboratory) is a group of researchers that combine multiple backgrounds and integrate various disciplines to create and investigate novel materials that tackle the experimental investigation of supramolecular interfaces.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Working and collaborating on research projects.
  • Analysis and publication of results
  • Build a strong network in the field of research
  • Participate in education, and PhD and master student supervision
Profile
  • Motivated candidates willing to work on a challenging project at the frontiers of what we understand of protein colloidal stability
  • Solid background in colloidal science, and/or physical chemistry, and/or molecular biology is required.
  • Track record of published research in relevant areas
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to mentor students and contribute to ongoing lab projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong motivation to explore new research domains
  • Good team spirit
