We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Clients Invoicing & Payments Geneva team. The team is part of the Finance & MANCO Oversight Department that is in charge of the computation and invoicing of the management fee for mandates and other similar contracts and is also responsible for the computation and payment of trailer fees to external distributors.

Your role

The position entails a variety of responsibilities which include (but not limited to):

  • Management Agreement set-up (finance part) and follow-up
  • Initial and ongoing management fee computation and invoicing
  • Trailer fee set-up and maintenance
  • Initial and ongoing commission calculation and payment (including related cash management activities)
  • Performing controls and reconciliation of data between different systems or data sources
  • Recurring and possible one-off financial analysis
  • Maintenance and improvement of current procedures and processes, with a focus on automation and optimization
  • Achieving competency in all tasks performed within the team

This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop his/her comprehensive understanding of the fund industry while gaining experience in all aspects of trailer fee and management fee set-up, calculation and maintenance.

Additionally, you will collaborate across departments, including Sales, Legal, and Compliance.

Your profile
  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance/Accounting.
  • At least 5 years gained in similar position or in finance/audit within the fund/asset management industry.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of Quartal/SAP/PowerBI/Alteryx would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and AI technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and rigor in task execution.
  • Ability to design and implement automated processes to optimize financial operations.
  • Team player, collaborative mindset and willing to learn.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and French another language will be a plus.
  • Mandatory presence during production periods (January, April, July and October).
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
You will receive a training in the methodologies used to calculate and pay trailer fees. Throughout the training period, you will gain an insight into the investment fund industry by working alongside professionals whose task will be to share their experience with you.
