Software Engineer - Product Core Team

You will directly contribute in turning Product Data into a strategic competitive advantage, accelerating the speed of On’s innovation and go-to-market. Your work will enable R&D, product creators and managers, copy and translators, studio and marketing teams to access, manage, and distribute product data with ease.If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges, designing high-performance systems, and collaborating across teams, this role is for you!

Your Mission

In Your First Month:

• Get to know On's product data ecosystem and infrastructure
• Pair up with senior engineers to learn the tools and services used by the team
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring high-quality, secure, and well-tested code

After Three Months:

• Implement new features and services to enhance our data infrastructure
• Work on our Kafka-based event streaming system for real-time data distribution
• Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to deliver business value

After Six Months and Beyond:

• Take ownership of small to medium-sized projects
• Support improvements to system reliability and performance
• Continue learning and contributing to team best practices and engineering quality

• Develop & maintain robust, scalable backend systems using TypeScript and Node.js (experience with Ruby is a plus)
• Work with GraphQL APIs and event-driven systems
• Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to solve problems
• Contribute to code reviews and improve code quality across the team
• Help document your work and share knowledge within the team
