Procurement Transformation Manager

Exclusive Mandate > On behalf of our client, an internationally active, medium-sized pharmaceutical company in the region of Schaffhausen, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Excellence & Transformation Manager.

This role is focused on advancing procurement excellence across the Group, with a strong emphasis on processes, governance, systems and performance.

• Shape and implement the procurement excellence and transformation agenda
• Standardise and improve procurement processes, governance and ways of working
• Drive digitalisation initiatives to further develop procurement systems and tools
• Enhance procurement analytics, reporting, KPIs and spend transparency
• Support the development of best practices across sourcing, supplier management and procurement operations
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects in close collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain and IT
• Drive organisational change and the adoption of new processes and tools across international sites
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, transparency and value contribution within procurement

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement transformation, process optimisation and strategic procurement within an international industrial environment
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and governance
• Experience with procurement systems, digitalisation and data-driven performance management
• Strong project and change management capabilities
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach with a strong execution focus
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
