Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the entire warehouse area. You will lead the team in the day-to-day process, ensure efficient warehouse processes and ensure a smooth flow of goods across all interfaces.They drive continuous improvement and play a key role in developing employees and ensuring quality and budget compliance.
The working model for the role is: on-site
This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
They are mainly responsible for:
- Management and development of the warehouse team
- including annual skills reviews and role-specific training.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations
- and monitors all material flows (inbound, warehouse, outbound, internal) as well as warehouse equipment.
- Optimization of warehouse processes
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and continuous improvement actions.
- Execute inventory and budget responsibilities
- including quarterly commodity counts, annual complete inventory, required reporting and annual budgeting
- Completed basic vocational training in the logistics sector (logistics specialist EFZ) and further training in logistics
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics and in a management position.
- Experience in reporting tasks
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Very good knowledge of ERP, SAP and MS Office
- Possession of a forklift driver's license SUVA-compliant, valid at the place of use.
- Flexible, communicative, team-oriented and resilient personality who knows how to motivate and encourage employees
