Enterprise and data architecture management
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the SMART architecture framework and principles.
  • Define and document the SMART digital infrastructure architecture vision (functional, technical and data perspective), strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the business strategy and objectives.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with the SMART architecture framework and standards.
  • The Smart Architecture to be designed must align with the existing enterprise architectures of both IEC and ISO, supporting their joint transformation towards a digital future. This work will be conducted in close collaboration with, and with the support of, the IT organizations of both entities.
Data Management
  • Define and deliver the data strategy roadmap for SMART.
  • Revise, maintain, deliver harmonized ontology management in collaboration with multiple expert groups
  • A key responsibility of this role is to ensure data protection, particularly with regard to intellectual property. Their effective enforcement must be embedded within the data architecture and flows, which are expected to uphold the compliance requirements defined by IEC and ISO stakeholders
Solution implementation
  • Design and oversee the implementation of SMART solutions that support the business capabilities compatible with data quality, security, and performance requirements as defined by IEC and ISO.
  • Propose rationalization and optimization plan to deliver current and future business capabilities (scalability) through shared, reuseable and scalable infrastructure approach.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Guide external consulting teams in the implementation of SMART solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand the current and future business capabilities, processes, and needs
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends that can enhance the SMART architecture and business capabilities

Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years in a technical role leading solution design, architecture definition, and roadmap creation.
  • Knowledgeable of IT Enterprise and Data architecture industry standard approaches
  • Experience Cloud hyperscale's (such as AWS or Azure), graph database solutions, API frameworks, and distributed data stores.
  • Solid working knowledge of relevant digital tools, curious about, able to learn, assimilate and understand the impacts of current and future technologies
  • Strong knowledge and experience in business capabilities mapping, data modelling, and transformation
  • Experience in artificial intelligence and ontology
  • Strong knowledge of digital infrastructure design, cloud and software architecture.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a complex, dynamic environment
