Internal communications specialist - 9-month temporary contract
Your team
Pictet Wealth Management (PWM) has an opening for a temporary internal communications specialist (maternity leave cover), starting on 1 October 2026, reporting to the Head of Internal Communications and based in Geneva.
The team’s mission is to help foster an informed and engaged workforce dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience, across PWM offices in Switzerland and abroad. This role will suit a highly organised, precise, creative and adaptable professional capable of conveying ideas with clarity and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Your role
Manage the monthly business newsletter compilation, design and distribution- Together with the Head of Internal Communications, manage the monthly editorial committee, send the invitations, reminders, and run the meetings;
- Ensure coordination with each contributor and produce the monthly newsletter: headlines, teasers, design;
- Distribute the newsletter to all colleagues and ensure successful amplification through local ambassador network abroad;
- Manage the analytics.
- Help prepare concept proposals, stakeholder briefs, and change management/communications plans;
- Coordinate execution across relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Actively participate with the Head of Internal Communications in the organisation of internal events, from planning, to invitations and logistics;
- Coordinate with the various internal and external stakeholders and manage invoices;
- On the day of the event, ensure tight onsite management of timings and flow according to the run of play, acting as the director (“régie”) in close coordination with the technical teams.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their intranet content production and promote their news stories;
- Edit and post content on the PWM intranet homepage;
- Perform ad hoc access management;
- Manage analytics and prepare regular reports;
- Ensure clean formatting of email communications via the JungleMail template;
- Validate recipient lists before distribution.
- At least 5 years’ professional experience, including a minimum of 18 months in a private bank and within a communications team
- Functionally bilingual in English and French
- Comfortable writing effective messages and coordinating events
- Track record in managing projects from start to finish, while taking a proactive approach and focusing on the essential steps with strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Autonomous, a team player, willing to take initiative and adapt
- Good ability to work under pressure, prioritise, think creatively and deliver well-organised plans
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools and good working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
