Principal Data & AI – Life Sciences

Around 450 employees work at our Swiss locations in Zurich, Bern and Lausanne.

That’s the job – Your main tasks:

• Advising leading life sciences companies on strategic questions related to data, AI and transformation.
• Developing data & AI strategies, target visions and roadmaps with a clear focus on business value and scalability.
• Structuring complex challenges along the value chain, from Research & Development to Medical, Regulatory and Commercial.
• Leading programs, workstreams and client teams with a focus on impact, quality and feasibility.
• Translating technological possibilities into robust management decisions and prioritized courses of action.
• Building trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders and actively contributing to proposal development and market presence.
• Further developing the life sciences practice through thought leadership, business development and the expansion of strategic client relationships.

This job is for you, if you have:

• Several years of experience in consulting, industry or technology‑driven transformation environments with a focus on data, AI or analytics.
• A solid understanding of the life sciences industry, ideally in Research, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory or Supply Chain.
• The ability to quickly structure complex issues, pragmatically prioritize them and steer them towards a clear outcome using a hypothesis‑driven approach.
• A perspective on data and AI not just as technologies, but as levers for value creation, better decision‑making and new business models.
• Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and the ability to distill content for management‑level audiences in a targeted and concise way.
• A strong motivation to take responsibility for programs, client relationships and the development of a consulting offering.
• Very good German and English language skills.

• Experience with GenAI, data platforms, AI governance or regulatory requirements in a life sciences context.
• Proven success in business development, proposal creation or thought leadership.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of business, technology and transformation.
