Consisting of a rich and fun offering made up of training courses and certifications, its content is available in class or online in more than 20 countries, making watchmaking knowledge available to all.
Finally, the FHH Forum, a discussion and debate platform designed by the industry for the industry, informs, questions and connects the leaders of the sector with the aim of shaping the ecosystem of the future.
A circle of around forty watch brands is actively committed to the culture and heritage of watchmaking and offers unwavering support to the Foundation since its creation. Visionaries and the avant-garde actively encourage and support the missions and activities of the FHH.
Position summary
The Accounting Assistant will support all the accounting aspects of the Foundation by recording, storing, accessing, and/or analyzing computerized financial and accounting information (SAP). Preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing invoices according to company procedures.Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved. Supporting during period-end closing procedures and reporting as specified. Checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Organizing, securing, and maintaining all files in accordance with policies and procedures.
Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant are:
- To ensure coordination and facilitate communication between the Group accounting and finance departments and FHH team
- Regular communication to team on important updates and communications
- Prepare and provide team with onboarding and training sessions and presentations
- To support and oversee the overall flux procurement-to-pay, also via SAP, according to Group policies and procedures, in particular on:
- Purchase orders creation, modification
- Vendors profiles creation, modification, extension
- Advances and regular payments and issuance of invoices
- Invoices receipts and reconciliations
- Expenses reports and Visa Statements: check, transmittal and record
- Events budgets reconciliations
- Liaise and maintain good relationships with supporting Group departments and ex- ternal vendors
- To support Executives and team on budgets & monthly closings:
- SAP Extractions
- Monthly Provisions and reconciliations
- Budgets regular verifications and review
- Support the team during some events throughout the year by:
- Further support the team on accounting matters and procedures related to the event
- Support Executives on final event budget reconciliation
- Being available for any additional demand or project
Languages
Fluent in French and English
Required Skills- - A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Previous experience in accounting departments, AR, AP
- Service oriented, organized, and structured, collaborative spirit
- Communication and writing skills
- Proactive and capable of multi-tasking
- Ability to identify and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in standard software applications including SAP, Outlook, Excel, Power- Point, and Word
