From the initial analysis of new regulations to the execution of comprehensive implementation plans, your contributions will be pivotal.
Your Impact- Regulatory Analysis and Impact Assessment: Dive into the depths of new and existing regulations affecting data protection and financial services, such as GDPR, Swiss Data Protection Act, Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, EU AI Act, MiFID II, FinSA, DORA, NIS 2, Cyber Resilience Act.
- Lead impact assessments across business units: identifying both risks and opportunities, while keeping our compliance posture proactively sharp.
- Project Management: Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans for legal regulatory implementations across the organization. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, operations, and IT, to ensure smooth execution. Skillfully manage timelines, resources, and budgets to confidently meet milestones and achieve deliverables.
- Implementation Plan Design: Design implementation strategies that resonate with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Transform new regulations into actionable steps within the company's operational framework. Empower the team by facilitating training and communication plans to ensure everyone is on board with compliance procedures.
- Implementation Support: Be the guiding star during the implementation phase, offering unwavering support and resolving challenges to keep progress on track. Continuously evaluate implementation efficacy, adapting plans to enhance compliance outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, building and nurturing relationships to promote collaboration and support for regulatory initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated industry with a proven track record of managing regulatory implementation projects.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing regulatory implementation teams.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and its impact on business operations.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory texts and translate them into actionable business requirements.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
