IT Senior Data Analyst - Finance

Gather business requirements and identify opportunities for business intelligence and automation across finance functions (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Financial Planning, and Internal Controls)
- Design, optimize, and maintain existing solutions (BI and automation), ensuring seamless integration within the organization's ecosystem and compliance with relevant requirements
- Define and enforce best practices for data management, solution development, and secure deployment
- Develop comprehensive documentation to support the sustainability of business processes and data analysis/automation initiatives
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable solutions
- Leverage and implement the latest technologies and tools in collaboration with finance, data, and IT teams
- Present deliverables and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within broader internal communities
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
SQL or Python experienceFinance Software
Education, Experience and Core Competencies- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Relevant professional experience in a similar role, including at least 5 years in transformation or change-driven environments, ideally within finance and international/matrix organizations
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects with measurable business impact through data analysis and automation
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Looker
- Hands-on expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and data cleansing (e.g., SQL, Power Query), as well as familiarity with programming concepts and algorithms
- Practical experience with automation tools such as Power Automate and/or UiPath
- Exposure to data management platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft SQL Server is considered an asset
- Prior experience in finance within an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Strong ability to collect, structure, and analyze large volumes of complex data
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative team player, comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
