Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your creativity and technical knowledge to the development of new and innovative solutions. You will be responsible for product development in the field of high-performance miniature circuit breakers, including conducting preliminary studies, planning, evaluating and developing key product features that require broad technical knowledge
The working model for the role is: onsite
They are mainly responsible for:
- Coordinate tasks involving employees from other departments to investigate problems, develop solutions, and make recommendations in the role of senior engineer or project manager
- Analysis of technical and economic aspects of proposed solutions to support decision-making
- Proactively identify and execute tasks to improve operations, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction
- Developing, planning, implementing and coordinating recommendations for studies to promote innovation
- Representation of the organization at international meetings; Interact with customers to resolve key technical issues and develop appropriate action plans
- This position reports to the R&D Platform Owner High Performance MCB's
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering/Mechatronics or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a development engineer or design engineer
- Strong technical knowledge in the following areas:
- Mechanical and electrical systems of low-voltage products
- Design of mechanical and electrical interfaces
- Construction of plastic and metal parts
- Manual and automated assembly processes for components in low-voltage technology
- Good understanding of project management methodologies with proven experience
- Good knowledge of the use of CAD software, preferably Solidworks
- Strong written and spoken communication skills (German and English)
- Experience working with global suppliers, manufacturing and engineering resources
