Commercial Excellence Manager
Are you passionate about driving commercial performance and enabling strategic decision-making? We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Commercial Excellence Manager to join our Swiss Commercial Organization in Fribourg. In this pivotal role, you will provide insights, tools, and processes that empower our sales, marketing, and leadership teams to optimize performance, identify growth opportunities, and enhance operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities- Strategic Commercial Support
- Contribute to the implementation of commercial strategies at the affiliate level
- Support strategic planning for CSL Vifor products across leadership and customer teams
- Conduct advanced analyses (e.g., patient flows, forecasting)
- Perform market and competitor research
- Manage forecasting tools and develop business cases
- Business Intelligence & Performance Monitoring
- Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights
- Drive the development of business intelligence tools (data warehouse, data models, Power BI)
- Maintain and publish monthly performance reports
- Manage external vendors and control related budgets
- Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
- Lead SFE processes including segmentation, targeting, goal setting, and incentive planning
- Conduct performance reviews with regional teams and commercial leadership
- Maintain and adapt CRM systems to local needs
- Roll out global projects and provide training
- Support integrated account management and change management initiatives
- Collaborate closely with global Commercial Excellence teams
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales force effectiveness within the pharmaceutical industry
- Additional experience in marketing, sales, or project management is a plus
- Proficiency in English, German, and French
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data warehouse and BI technologies
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical market, CRM systems, and forecasting tools
- Proven experience in business and financial analysis
- Strong project management capabilities
