ASAP: Lead Compliance & Data Privacy - Try & Hire (m/w/d)

• Provide expert guidance and training across the business to embed a strong culture of compliance, including regular effectiveness monitoring and reporting.
• Review and approve contractual engagements and activities involving healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations, and patient organisations, ensuring full adherence to internal and external requirements.
• Assess and validate promotional and non‑promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Offer strategic advice on a broad range of compliance matters and recommend practical solutions to support business objectives while mitigating risk.
• Lead and coordinate third‑party due diligence processes in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Conduct investigations into reported or detected compliance issues, develop corrective action plans, and ensure appropriate follow‑through with cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee data privacy matters, with support from specialised legal resources when needed, ensuring the organisation meets all relevant privacy and data protection obligations.
• Deliver regular compliance updates to senior leadership and represent the compliance function in key governance and project committees.

• Master's degree in law and admission to a Swiss or European bar.
• Minimum of ten years' experience as in‑house legal counsel within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector, ideally in a global environment.
• At least five years of hands‑on experience in pharmaceutical compliance and a first experience in a leadership role would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset combined with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and a pragmatic approach to complex issues.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with agility and flexibility.
• Fully fluent in English, German is a strong plus
