We are looking for a "Sales Manager Europe" (m/f/d) for our "Mass Timber Construction"

Around 950 employees are making our high quality fasteners in Ennepetal, Germany and Bryan, Ohio in the USA.

Field of Activities:

  • Sales activities with manufacturers and service providers in the field ofstructural timber construction in Europe
  • Introduction of a sales strategy for major customers (OEMs, installers,engineers/specialists)
  • Responsibility for European pricing policy and customer segmentation, andcoordination with distributors and SPAX subsidiaries
  • Successful planning of the integration of training, testing/specifications, andmarketing with new products and initiatives
  • Coordination with SPAX subsidiaries outside of Europe for internationalcustomers and construction projects
  • Management of employees in Europe in the areas of structural engineeringsales and data management
  • Coordination of sales personnel in European SPAX subsidiaries
Your profile
  • Desire to work independently in a growing market
  • Leadership qualities, judgment, critical thinking, ability to make decisions in a spirit of teamwork
  • Degree in engineering or economics
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in sales; experience in the structural timber construction/building industry is necessary
  • International management experience as job requires intercontinental coordination skills
  • Good knowledge and skills in the area of business and management principles: analysis, organization, budgeting, resource allocation, and human resources
  • Positive mindset, professional conduct with integrity and a hands-on mentality
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
  • Fluent in English, other languages are advantageous
  • Extensive travel within Europe
