BACKGROUND

The Deputy Finance BPO plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Business Process Owner in driving the transformation and continuous improvement of the Finance Operating Model, with a specific focus on treasury processes.

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the definition, documentation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of operational processes within Treasury at Group and Regional level, ensuring alignment and compliance with Group guidelines.

How will you make an impact?

Reporting to the BPO Finance and based in Bellevue, this role will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Treasury Process Management
  • Lead review and update of treasury processes, ensuring alignment with policies and regulations
  • Identify and analyze needs for evolving treasury processes (activities, rules, roles)
  • Design and implement operational processes, ensuring cross-functional alignment
  • Propose improvements to treasury processes, including responsibilities, business rules, and model enhancements
  • Facilitate review panels and validate changes
  • Ensure technical solutions align with processes and validate results
  • Document processes and provide user training
  • Monitor process performance and compliance
Treasury System Support
  • Provide expert support for treasury systems, including ERPs, treasury management systems and banking platforms (such as SAP, FIS integrity, CashForce, 360T, etc.)
  • Identify and address technical issues related to treasury processes and systems
  • Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of treasury systems in collaboration with IT
Treasury Risk Management
  • Support the development of treasury risk management strategies
  • Monitor treasury risk exposures and identify potential areas of concern
  • Contribute to the development of treasury risk mitigation plans
Finance Technology and Process Automation
  • Identify opportunities for automating treasury processes within the Finance function
  • With IT, implement and maintain technical solutions that enhance treasury processes
  • Develop automation solutions using RPA and other tools to streamline treasury tasks
Change Management
  • Develop and implement management plans for treasury-related initiatives
  • Lead a community of practitioners to collect ideas and deliver changes
  • Communicate changes to stakeholders, managing resistance and addressing concerns
  • Facilitate training and knowledge sharing related to treasury changes

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

Education, experience and core competencies
  • University degree in finance, information system, mathematics/statistics or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in working closely with operational finance Treasury, Accounting, FP&A or similar) complemented with strong experience in project management
  • Strong knowledge of treasury management
  • Proficiency in Financial Accounting & Reporting as well as in Financial Modelling and Analysis
  • SAP technical skills, particularly in Finance module
  • Proficiency in Process Monitoring (and familiar with related tool, e.g. Celonis) and Data visualization tools (Google Looker or similar)
  • Familiar with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Basic understanding of Programming Languages is a plus (e.g., Python, Java, R, SQL, Visual C++, ABAP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in English is required; French or other languages are a plus
