Providing supply and implementation arrangements, including tenders and contracts, requiring daily contact with the ICT team.
- Providing support to contractual needs.
- Supporting the Digital team for the development and operation of websites, OTT services, apps, and other digital platforms that support competitions and related sponsorship arrangements.
- Supporting the Operations unit with supply contracts for its procurement of match-related technology.
- Assisting the relevant Legal Counsel with commercial rights work such as licensing of archive content.
- Protecting the organization's overall interests from a legal and business affairs perspective.
- Cooperating and communicating with other lawyers in the Commercial & Technology Legal Services unit (and the rest of the Legal Affairs division) to ensure the coordination and consistency of policies and compliance with commercial programs and projects.
- Cooperating with the Procurement unit, which oversees the application of procurement-related governance regulations and framework.
- 4 years of experience - English Strong experience with technology contracts and good IP knowledge
- Master degree in Law.
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and practical advice after reviewing a range of documentation.
- Experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, and understanding of commercial business drivers.
- Solid understanding of intellectual property, IT, and privacy laws (working knowledge of GDPR matters would be an asset but is not of primary importance as this function is not responsible for data protection policy or compliance).
- Interest in and knowledge of legal operations and processes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiating, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams
