The Front Desk Assistant is responsible for welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, maintaining the reception area, scheduling appointments, handling mail, providing administrative support, and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees warmly, creating a positive first impression.
- Handle incoming calls courteously and efficiently, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy reception area, ensuring it reflects the company's professionalism.
- Manage appointments and meetings, ensuring accurate scheduling and reminders.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, as well as assist in outgoing mail preparations.
- Provide basic administrative support to various departments, including data entry, filing, and handling travel documents.
- Work effectively in pairs and collaborate with others to ensure smooth operations.
- CFC diploma or higher, or a degree from a hospitality school
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in reception or customer service
- Fluent in English and French
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to maintain a well-organized and professional reception area
