Our flagship event, the HackSummit, brings together 850+ of the most driven founders, funders, and ecosystem builders shaping the future of climate, nature and industrialization in Europe and in the USA.
We’re growing, and need a full-time Sales & Partnerships Lead who can build relationships, close deals, and drive forward our mission through high-impact collaborations.
Tasks
About the Role
As our first sales hire, you'll be our first line of offense. We’re looking for someone who can identify and close great partners (corporates, philanthropic & governmental organisations), start conversations that don’t feel like stale sales pitches, fill their calendars with sales calls and close deals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead generation: Identify and qualify potential sponsors and partners who align with our mission across any channels. Could be our meetups, other community events, could be direct-mails, Linkedin, doesn’t matter, where you can get a hold of the right people is where you need to be.
- Sales outreach: Reach out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, and events—crafting pitches and writing copy that cut through the noise. Re-engage people we’ve talked to before but haven’t come around to support us. Test new outbound tactics and figure out what actually works.
- Deal closing: Own the full sales cycle from first touch to sign contract, qualifying leads fast and working with the Hack team to match them with the right offers.
- Track everything: own your CRM and report on outreach volume, reply rates, meetings booked, and meeting completion rates.
