Junior IT Controller (f/m/x)

We're on the lookout for an experienced IT Budget & Expense Analyst to join our client in Geneva. The main objective of this role is to support the management of IT costs by focusing on tracking, analyzing, and reporting expenditure. This will ensure alignment with budget expectations and improve financial efficiency.

Missions
  • Track, analyze, and report IT operational spending, ensuring proper allocation and adherence to budgetary targets.
  • Perform in-depth variance assessments and provide insights with actionable recommendations for IT and finance teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts and manage accrual processes for IT-related costs.
  • Consolidate and validate cost data from diverse sources with precision and transparency.
  • Design and deliver detailed financial reports and dashboards using advanced Excel functionality and tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Partner closely with IT service and project managers to identify cost influencers and support cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure that internal financial procedures and policies are followed rigorously.
  • Provide cost documentation and support during internal and external audit processes.
Profil du candidat
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in cost management or financial analysis, ideally within IT or technology-oriented settings.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau or Power BI) for data visualizations and reporting.
  • Strong comprehension of organizational structures involving multiple entities or departments.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy, particularly when managing and analyzing large-scale datasets.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize under strict deadlines.
  • Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to deliver actionable insights.

Additional Details

This position offers an initial six-month commitment, with opportunities for extension based on performance and operational needs.
